I am looking for any information that may lead me to prove that Richard BILLINGSLEY was a Loyalist and not just a British soldier. Richard was born in Codsall Parish, Staffordshire, England in 1757. Richard married 22 Dec 1786 Elizabeth PEARSON. Elizabeth was the daughter of a Loyalist, Christopher PEARSON. Richard is mention on someone elses land claim as a Loyalist.
